Since 1921, when the brand was first recognized as a local shop selling farming tools, we have been shaping steel with the ambition to bring innovation and precision to the world of handling equipment.

• 1921 – The brand's beginnings: establishment of a small plant for the production of agricultural tools

• 1970 – Decision to begin development and production of hydraulic cranes

• 1997 – Portfolio expansion with the addition of towing systems

• 2014 – Transition to new ownership and management, bringing radical changes and the start of intensive development

• 2017 – Launch of fundamentally innovative products

• 2021 – ESSEL celebrates its 100th anniversary

• 2022 – Investments in production assets and R&D over the past four years reach €7 million

Future

In the future, we see the ESSEL brand as one of the leading European producers of special towing technology. At the same time, we want to be a reliable and responsible partner to our customers, employees, suppliers and investors.

In an endeavour to keep our products competitive, continuous development and research combined with the highest information technologies is the absolute priority of the company.
